I am a calm, thoughtful, attentive caregiver with good instincts who will provide excellent care and companionship for your dog or cat while you are away. I will treat your home as though it were my own so you can travel with peace of mind knowing that your pets and home are expertly cared for. I enjoy what I do and I believe that pets are our gurus! I treat your pet family like they are on vacation too and try and remove the stress for everyone! I know that animals get stressed with change like we do and know how to distract and reward so your pet can get down to having fun quickly! Animals are soothed by repetition, especially skittish dogs while owners are away. I like to work with you closely to schedule visits and logistics for the stay. I spend as much time as possible with your pet and prioritize their needs. I like to know their schedule and what drives them. I am comfortable with all breeds and all sizes of dogs and cats. I also have experience with Boer goats and various breeds of chicken and even certain birds.
A typical day
I am a heart centered care provider who is adaptable. I prioritize the needs of the furry friends that I am with. Some dogs walk fast, others not so much. I know how to gently lead and how to keep dogs interested and most importantly safe and happy. I have as much experience with cats as dogs and lived with two Birmans for many years.
