Pet care experience
I took a break from pet sitting to care for my own senior dog and puppy, but I'm back in West Hartford and hoping to connect with new and former customers to provide outstanding care for your pets in the West Hartford area. I would love to meet your fur babies and develop a strong rapport with both you and your pet(s). I aim to make both you and your pets feel confident and comfortable while you are away and provide frequent updates w/photos so that you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for. I follow your instructions to the letter, and respect your home. I care for your home and your pets just as I would for my own and your pet's health and happiness are my top priority. I look after dogs, cats, rabbits, and other critters. I appreciate your business and look forward to seeing your fur babies soon!

Teri was excellent! Bella was very well cared for while we were away. She got tons of attention, lots of play time, long walks and lots of cuddles. This was my first time using Rover and being away from Bella and I felt extremely comfortable with Teri. She kept me up to date on how Bella was doing and took lots of pictures. Bella was very happy! I would highly recommend Teri and will not hesitate to use her again.
Teri came to my rescue for an overnight with our two giant babies. My husband and I have always done overnight for our pups, and Teri by far has given them the most walks. We came home from a quick trip to NYC and they were clearly well walked/taken care of as they weren't running out of the door or jumping on us. Thanks Teri!

Teri is the best. She’s always responsive and extremely reliable. I was away for a week and felt comfortable Teri would give my kitty her daily medicine & that my dog would be taken care of. My dog was suddenly sick mid-week and Teri kept me informed and was nice enough to clean things up as best she could. I’m very appreciative!

I would like to know if the dog has any aggression issues with people, or with other dogs. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on all vaccines and on flea/tick preventatives. I visit a lot of dogs and ticks in particular can cause deadly diseases for pets and people.
A typical day
I will walk your dog each day that you are away, and take the dog out for potty breaks as needed. I love to snuggle and give lots of belly rubs.

Availability
I work part-time from home as an online community college instructor so my schedule is flexible. I have two dogs of my own, but can step out for a midday walk or drop in visit for you. I'm happy to stay overnight in your home as long as my husband is home with my own pups and I can log in to WiFi to do work. While you are away, I might pop out for a short time, but otherwise commit my time to being with your pet(s) and am happy to water plants, bring in mail, and other every-day household routines. Pets are used to a regular schedule, and it's stressful when their parents are away, so I give them lots of time and attention to help minimize that stress.
