Pet care experience
I've always had animals of all kinds, and I've been the neighbor/friend that cares for other people's animals for almost 20 years! I've worked/volunteered in local shelters, and fostered over one hundred cats/dogs. When we have guests, they are treated just like family - there is plenty of room to play and have lots of fun!

We felt so incredibly grateful for Terese. Her loving and thoughtful care of our 1yr old Labany was exactly what we had hoped for after needing a reliable board at such short notice. Her set up was a really close match to our back yard with over an acre of green grass for him to run and chase the chuck it ball! Totally fenced in and secure. He made lots of new friends, big and small, including cats and of course Terese!! ♥️♥️♥️
Terese is an awesome person! She was fantastic with my dog who sustained a soft tissue injury preceding our trip by only 4 days. His recovery routine required oral medication administration and limited exercise, which is a tough thing for a very active playful young dog. Terese was very confident in her ability to manage his care while I was away and put my mind at ease. She sent me frequent updates with photos and by the end of his stay Cosmo was feeling much better in large part due to Terese’s phenomenal care. At the end of the trip our flight home was delayed putting us home several hours later than expected. Terese was super understanding and accommodating and allowed us to pick up our dog past the time we’d planned and quite late into the night. Thank you so much for being great, Terese! Cosmo will be back to visit you for sure!!
The absolute BEST!! She sent us pictures each day and our Jack fell in love with her and had the best time with his new found friends! Jack will never go to any other sitter! He loves Terese and she is definable an expert at making her doggie guests comfortable. Thank you so much!! ?

The property is fully fenced; it's a chain link fence that is 5-6' tall. There are sections for parking, small play, and a large 1 acre field for running and playing that's like our own personal dog park! I have 3 dogs that love to have friends to play with, especially my goofy young lab mix! I try to keep the number of dogs we host rather low so that all of our overnight guests and day campers receive lots of love and attention.

For example; if they are not terribly confident or social, I will be sure to take things slow so they are not fearful or overwhelmed. Please make sure you have a complete pet profile within Rover, including a photo, veterinary information and care/feeding instructions, as well as an up to date copy of your dog's vaccine record available. Also, current on flea preventative, please.
A typical day
I love to encourage physical and mental activity. We play with various toys (chuck it, flirt pole, tug toys, etc) as well as free run play in the fully fenced 1 acre field. We also take walks around the property, exploring using senses (visual and mental) to activate the brain. I change things up so they don't get bored.

I'm available for Day Camp and Boarding on weekends. In some instances I can take a boarder on a Friday evening. Dogs must be picked up by 6pm on Sunday.
