Pet care experience
I enjoy caring for pets and giving them kind and loving attention while they are missing their family. And I like being able to give their family the peace of mind that their fur-babies are safe and loved while they are gone. I have over 40 years of experience loving and caring for pets of all kinds. My current best fur-friend is Kevin an 18 lb German spitz. He plays well with other dogs. We have an acre of land in town with a huge, fenced in backyard for dogs to run and play. Belly rubs and massages are the best! I am experienced with puppies and large dogs as well. I love kitties too! I am honored to care for your pets.

Teresa agreed to watch our kitties last minute, and she was wonderful. We received updates and pictures every day and she kindly brought in our mail as well. Sometimes our kitties don’t love strangers and they warmed up to Teresa quickly. She even left a sweet Valentine’s Day/Birthday Card for our 4 year old daughter. I like to know any special needs, routines, or preferences that will help your dog feel secure and happy. Is your dog friendly and social with other dogs? Are they nervous around other people or children? Where do they like to sleep? Of course, emergency contact info and your established veterinarian contact info. Do they have any behavioral quirks like chewing furniture, eating weird stuff, digging at fence, etc. so that I can keep them safe.
A typical day
Our backyard is extra large and fetch is extra fun when you can run a long way! On hot days we can have a small swimming pool to play in if this is approved. In your home we can do your favorite activities. I always send pictures and video so your people know how you are doing and that you are safe and loved.

Availability
I am home most of the time. Therefore, all pets get plenty of attention and opportunity to play outside and have frequent potty breaks. If I need to run an errand then my husband is usually home.
