Pet care experience
Growing up my family had all types of pets, multiple dogs, birds, hamsters, turtles, lizards and snakes. I learned to care for animals as a young age and have continued to care for animals into my adulthood. As an adult I currently live with my husband, daughter and 2.5 year old dog Max and 10 year old cat Cheeze. We recently lost our other beloved cat at 19 years old who required insulin injections twice a day, and pill administration as needed, so I have pet medication administration experience.

If you choose me to care for your pet during the day or overnight, know they will be treated as one of the family. We have a fenced in yard and a playful dog to keep your dog company. Our resident dog has never met a dog he didn't get along with. He really loves to play but if you're dog needs space we can accomodate your pet's needs. We have a crate if you're dog feels more comfortable at night but we allow dogs on all furniture here and in our bed at night. Max, our dog, also has lived with two cats his whole life and does very well with them. We make sure our cat has his own space when he feels like he needs it.

We have a 6 year old daughter in the home who has spent a lot of time with dogs and cats and is very respectful and good with them. We would like to know if your dog has had exposure to children and what their response was so that we can keep everyone safe and make sure we are both comfortable.
A typical day
Our resident dog is a hound mix who loves walks to smell all the smells and plenty of activities like fetch and going to dog parks/dog beaches to run. We'd love your dog to join us for these activities and when we are done we really enjoy time to cuddle on the couch. If you're dog prefers to rest and take it easy we are good at accommodating that too with down time on our couch and lots of snuggles if desired.

My priority is to you and your pets. My resident dog, Max, and I, go on many walks during the day and excursions to dog beaches and parks when we can.
