Pet care experience
I grew up having dogs and cats and have always cared very deeply for their welfare. I am passionate about spending quality time with your pet and I genuinely consider them as part of my family. I have been dog-sitting for neighbors and close friends for approximately 25 years and I will only treat them as if they are my own. It is always very emotional when saying good-bye and leaving them, yet it is so incredibly rewarding as my love for them is undeniably unconditional. I look at caring for them as a loving grand-parent or aunt would - I get to spend time with them and then I leave and they are again back with their loving family. I can be counted on day or night to take care of my furry friends.

Teresa did a wonderful job taking care of my dogs while I was away for the weekend. She went above and beyond and laundered the sheets that she used and asked her husband and sons to come over and help move some furniture that was delivered while I was gone. Teresa is so kind and I so appreciate the extra miles she went to help me. Highly recommend!
This was our first time using a dog-sitter that was not someone we know and Teresa was EXCELLENT! We highly recommend her! She came to our home for a visit before her stay to meet us. Teresa is very easy to work with, kind, and loving to our dog. She LOVES dogs! She is licensed and insured, too! She went above and beyond our expectations! She sent us messages to let us know our dog was doing well, and kept our house very tidy...actually...even better than we left it! Our dog was happy and not stressed when we returned. She is worth every penny! Please consider using Teresa as long as it's not on a weekend we need her! lol.

I can't believe what a gem we found in Teresa! I knew instantly in our meet-up that she was 100% invested in making sure my dog was well taken care of. While we were gone, she even went the extra mile to go home and get a food chopper to make sure my dog ate more of her specific diet. We are now doing this ourselves and she is eating better! My house was so immaculate when I returned, I thought a cleaning service had been there. The best part was the love Teresa has for dogs that was so evident. It is not just a job to her but she actually shows how much she cares for your pet. Can't recommend enough!

I would like to know what makes them most happy and content (favorite toys, treats, activities, etc). Also, are there any health or behavioral concerns that I should be aware of? My last dog was diabetic and I was very proficient with providing injections and oral medications and am willing to do so if need be. I love ALL dogs and have no breed preference.
A typical day
Any dog park nearby, or local trails, or around a lake perhaps. Play outside. I also make it a point to provide a gentle massage after walking or playing.
