I was so nervous about leaving my 9 year old German Shepard, Sasha, with anyone especially a stranger. I had a 6 day vacation planned and it was non-refundable. I was truly worried. I refuse to board her in a kennel as I do not believe in caging any animal. Then to consider the barking and the other possible behavioral issues that come with kennels - It just isnt an option for my pets and hopefully never will be. So first thank goodness for Rover.com as I am blessed to have found Teresa. She was more than willing to do a meet and greet. I knew she was a true dog lover right away. Dog people know other dog lovers when you meet them. Within minutes all my worries and hesitations vanished. Naturally, I had additional concerns if Sasha and Teresa’s dog would get along, but to make this experience even better, her beloved dog has such a gentle spirit just like Teresa and her Husband, that the dogs reaction to each other perfectly. These are happy people and it shows. The positive energy emerces their home, which is welcoming and very dog friendly. of course dogs can sense this and it showed in the way Sasha just made herself at home with everybody and this was the icing on the cake. I was convinced that Teresa was everything I was looking for In a person to trust my Sasha with. Teresa’s is knowledgeable and experienced. She was able to give Sasha her meds. She allowed her to get on the couch and to sleep in the bed if she chose to... and she did !!! She takes the dogs out frequently throughout the day. She sent pictures and texted me often. She always responded within a few minutes when I wanted to check in with her. I really have nothing bad to say. Teressa took such good care of my baby I won’t be looking for anyone else to care for her. Sasha just had a another overnight stay a few days ago and on the way through Teresa’s neighborhood Sasha got real excited. She obviously knew where she was. We walked in to the same happy home as we did the first time. Teresa met us at the door with her cheerful personality, the dogs greated each other and I could tell Sasha was happy to be there again. I have booked anther 5 nights with Teresa with no hesitation. I highly recommend her. ?

Teresa and I have been friends for close to 10 years. As far back as I can remember, she has always been involved with animals. She's been a foster mom to more dogs and cats than I can count. She has also worked with extensively with several animal rescue groups. I don't have a dog at present but all my past dogs have spent a lot of time at her house and the next dog I get will be doing the same.
