My wife (of 30 years) and I have had dogs since we began dating many years ago and all of them have been God sends . My favorite quote is "There are certain truths in life , and the dogs know what they are ." We truly believe they have molded us into better human beings and to this day still laugh and cry when we talk speak of them . We once traveled 18,000 miles around the US (camping) with our beloved Bubba and Zak and had the most incredible experience you could imagine . We were unable to have children and truly believe the Lord meant for us to be with our four legged friends throughout our lives here on earth . We've been through many different "dog" scenarios and do not claim to know it all but would and will do anything to help a dog in need . We have a wonderful Veterinarian/friend who lives just 2 blocks from our home and trust him implicitly , if God forbid, anything were to occur . Our goal when watching and taking care of your best friend is to provide an incredibly comfortable , fun and safe environment so he or she won't miss you quite as much as they might . One final note , due to difficulties in the past I will no longer be accepting bookings for Pit Bulls/Pit Bull mixes . I've given it considerable thought and although it was a difficult decision , I've determined I can no longer do it . Apologies to the beautiful breed and good doggie owners out there !
