Doggies make me happy
Pet care experience
In 2021, my 21-year reign as a dog mom came to an end. I’ve owned two dogs, both losing fights with cancer. While I’m stepping away from owning a dog for the moment, I miss the energy and life that a dog brings to our home. I work from home, so doggies won’t be lonely and I have a fully fenced-in yard, so there’s plenty of off leash playtime. I’m also an avid walker and runner, so if your pooch needs exercise, I’ve got that covered. Lastly, we do have a new puppy running around. He’s done great with the pups we’ve watched since his arrival. He’s spunky and full of life. We love having other dogs around to socialize him, but also to have a playmate.
Reviews
We had a great experience with Tempie and her family. I knew Lucy was in good hands and didn’t have to worry while I was on vacation.
Tempie is the best! Benny absolutely adores her and her family and I can tell they adore him back. It makes me so happy to leave him with people that clearly care so much about him. I will continue to use Tempie whenever possible. Knowing our boy is in great care with her while we are out of town keeps us at ease :) Thank you, Tempie!
We loved working with Tempie! She was very enthusiastic and communicative, and I could tell she really cared about her pup. She was also very flexible and accomodating. We would be happy to work with her again!
Tempie and her family did a great job with Angel and she seemed to fit right in with the family. I got some great pictures and updates and she didn't seem to want to leave. I will definitely use Tempie again! Thank you all so much!

As I mentioned, we have a fully-fenced yard and work from home. I don’t have any other pet, of any kind, in my home. I have an 8-year-old who’s equally obsessed with dogs as I am, as well as my husband. We do prefer to keep one pet at a time (unless there are multiple pets from the same home). Pets staying at our home have free reign. The only way to keep it that way is to minimize the risk of doggie drama.

Information Tempie F. would like to know about your pet
I need to know your veterinarian information - in case something happens I want to get them the care they need. I had a dog that would eat everything in site (couch, shoes, mattress) - and then she would throw it up. She did it ALL THE TIME. That would be good information to give me. It really was because she had a little anxiety and didn’t like being alone. She got mischievous. Does your doggie have a small bladder and need to go out often? What schedule do they have at home?
A typical day
I've looked after dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages. Every dog is different in its needs and I want to make sure your dog feels as much normalcy as possible when they're away from you. Sometimes they just want to sleep. But, if they're high energy, we can do anywhere from half of a mile to a 3-mile walk every morning - or no walk at all. If they like to fetch, we can play in our fenced-in back yard. We’re very accommodating and not only do we want them to feel comfortable with us, we want you to feel comfortable leaving them here.

I’ve cared for inside doggies for 20 years. Snuggles and walks are a definite in our everyday routine. Like, there’s a high probability of your pooch going home spoiled. We just love them.
