I have taken care of my friends and family's dogs recently and in the past. I wouldn't treat them any differently than my own pet. I would give them the much needed attention that they need by catering to their physical needs, such as feeding, playing, and even grooming them, if needed. For the most part, when the client leaves a note of specific instructions I will always abide by them, but if the situation calls I will use my intuition. For example, if a client does not specify how much food to give, I will use my learned knowledge to decide how much to give them. In all situations, I will go above and beyond to make sure that I exceed every expectation of each client that I am given.
