I’ve loved dogs and cats since I was a child, referring to my family dogs as my cousins and was adopted by a husky mix as a teenager who is very well behaved and well trained on account of our deep bond. We also have a pit who adopted my partner years ago and farm cats as well. We treat our animal friends as well as we can with respect and love and stern boundaries when necessary. We love hikes and adventure outdoors and lounging in the AC or at the river on hot summer days. I have a quiet baby who loves animals as well and is very gentle with our cats and dogs (Though I keep her hands off other animals to avoid any possible issues).

We live in a beautiful home on 20 acres that is not completely fenced. We are 2 miles from the river with hiking trails on BLM land above our property. We have two very friendly dogs (and We have a rabbitry and fenced chicken area, so please no dogs that are aggressive with small animals/ children.

Before I walk or dogs it your animal friend I’d love to know how they behave around young children, other dogs, on/off leash, if they need medication or have allergies, if they have any particularities, etc!
A typical day
We like to go on hikes at the Yuba or on trails above our 20 acre property. When we’re in town sometimes we visit the off-leash dog park for playing with new dog friends! Sometimes we adventure into the Sierras for off-leash longer hikes in cooler weather when it’s hot around town.

Availability
I’m currently a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is flexible for hikes, walks, attention giving, etc. We love going on walks around the property and at the river nearby. I’m open to bringing your animals on walks here and there or establishing a set schedule for walks if you have a work schedule, or establishing a relationship for when you need a dog/cat sitter during trips away or needing someone to stop by your home to check on your animals/ let them out/ feed them, etc.
