Best in-home dog care!!!

Pet care experience

I, Taylor, have been an animal lover my whole life. Originally I wanted to work with animals as a career but my life took a different turn. So now I am trying to get back into that part of me that wants to do something for our furry friends. Being a Rover sitter doesn't even feel like work and that's the best part. I have so much fun and feel blessed to have met each and every dog that gets to stay with me. My family has had dogs my entire life but I took a real role starting around age ten. I have had my own personal dog since 2015, Lily. She has anxiety issues so I am willing to work with any dog with special arrangements, considering I deal with it myself. Just recently we added Gryffin to our family. He is a young Dalmatian and he is full of energy. One of the main reasons for getting Gryffin was to support his sister and her anxiety, and he has done amazing. He has been teaching his sister to trust other animals and be more adventurous. It is a pretty wonderful blessing. Lastly, we added Remi to our pack. He was a foster dog that chose to stay forever and I don't know how we lived without him. With Lily's anxiety I did a lot of dog training lessons which helped me understand dogs' social cues and behaviors. I had started to learn to understand dog behavior since taking these classes. I learned what is good versus bad and how to address the situations. After many years bouncing back and forth, I decided that I needed to become a dog trainer. In March 2021 I graduated Animal Behavior Institute with two certifications: Canine Training Professional and Behavior Specialist and Certified Advanced Canine Training Professional.

Taylor is very reliable. Took great care of our cat and sent an update every day with a photo. She also watered our fledgling plants.

Taylor and Zachary were great with Dinah. Dinah has a fair amount of care needs and can be reactive, but they were able to manage her without any problems. They provided updates every day and even let me know when there was a wind storm in the area and checked to make sure my yard was okay. Would definitely recommend.

I work a traditional Monday through Friday career. I also runs a dog training business. Because of this, any doggie clients would need to be comfortable with me stepping in and out during a housesitting. Between Zack and I we have lots of availability for drop-in visits throughout the day; morning, evening, late into the night.
