Pet care experience
As a child growing up in rural North Georgia, I learned at an early age how to weave our animal's responsibilities into my own daily routine. My family never owned less than 4 dogs and often nursed others to health for the local shelter. I love dogs and understand how necessary it is, especially in a city, for them to have a safe time of activity outside. For years, I provided Rover care services in Portland, OR and I loved meeting all the pups and caring for them as if they were my own. I do everything in my power to make sure your pup has an excellent walk or drop-in experience.

My shy Coco got lots of TLC from Taylor. She was very responsive to my dogs needs and timidity. Also, loved getting lots of photos. I will definitely ask Taylor to watch my dog again.
Taylor did an amazing dog watching my pup Jada over the 4th of July weekend. Lots of fun pictures, a great communicator, and I could tell she kept her busy! Taylor made sure Jada was comfortable while fireworks were happening around for the 4th. I would recommend Taylor to anyone looking to have a sitter for their pet.
Taylor was fantastic with our two bulldogs. They come with a lot of quirks and she took them on with stride and the needed sense of humor. Appreciated the constant communication and adorable photo updates. So nice being able to leave our boys, knowing they are in such good and capable hands.
Taylor was amazing with our two little ones! She was flexible and kept us up to date on how they were doing with lots of cute pictures. They came back to us happy and healthy. We will definitely go back to her again. Thanks girl!

My goal is to always follow your instructions with a great deal of care and intentionality. I do not ever allow your pup off-leash to ensure their safety and well-being during my visit. For drop-in visits, I find a spot in your home to sit and play with your pup according to their unique needs. I always double check water supply and/or food before the visit is over.

Growing up, my favorite breeds were Pitbulls, Shar-peis, and mixed medium-sized breeds but I genuinely love any dog! Of course I love pugs since I am partial to my own :) It is helpful to know: if your dog loves toilet water or trash cans, if they have any allergies, an emergency contact routine, and any triggers (loud noises, etc.) or aggressive behaviors to ensure your dog is as safe and healthy as can be. I have plenty of experience with high-needs dogs and will not turn away pups for that reason.
A typical day
Fun activities are personalized to your dog's unique personality, needs and routine. Some classic favorites include cuddling, getting lots of pets, throwing a ball around, tug-of-war, belly rubs, and refreshing walks in beautiful places! We love taking your pups on special adventures or hikes if you allow it (& of course if the pups loves that sort of thing)!

Availability
At home, I have a sweet little pug that I care for every day. Because I am a graduate student and working other jobs to support my educational journey, the only care I can provide for Rover pups at this time is through walks and drop-ins. I love going for walks and do so as a part of my daily routine, and I'd love to bring your dog along with me!
