Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs my whole life, as my family has always had at least one fuzzy companion in the house. I grew up learning to love animals as family, and that extends on to every critter I meet. My schedule is very flexible! I will do everything I can to prioritize and accommodate your pet's care. I’m (almost) always local, so whether you need a quick one-time walk as soon as possible or a change of scenery for your pup’s every day walks to keep things interesting, you can count on me. I have experience training animals, and maintaining good behaviors with positive reinforcement. If you have a training routine, particular treats or other rewards, and behaviors to work on, I will happily help your pet practice.

Taylor has been taking care of my dogs for years and I can't think of anyone who I'd rather have take care of them than her. She spends quality time playing with them and makes sure their basic needs are cared for. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver!

I am comfortable with all kinds of dogs! But to make sure your dog is comfortable with me, I like to know about their social behaviors, including how they are with other dogs, new people and kids, or any personality trait they have in or out of the house so that I can make sure they feel safe and happy with me. Training practices or skills that they have or need to upkeep are also a plus! I believe strongly in positive and consistent training practices, and if your pet has a routine or responds best to specific requests I'd love to adhere to that regimen. Likewise, if there are stimuli that your dog responds to negatively, please let me know so I can avoid those triggers as best as possible! Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness with me is just as important as yours is.
A typical day
I like to keep walks to the neighborhood, and I think dogs do too. I love Long Beach, I love wandering through the different neighborhoods, so I'm happy to take a quick, purposeful walk, or a long exploration for new places to see (and sniff!). For the social butterflies, I am happy to go to Rosie's Dog Beach, or their own favorite park to play (I love the dog parks at Bixby); and for the older or more timid pups, a short and quiet turn about the block is just as enjoyable. (Couch potato dogs also loved and encouraged.)
