LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Pet care experience
My name is Taylor, I have worked with animals for the past ten years, six of those I have spent as a veterinary technician. I am currently working full time at an emergency clinic and have a passion for what I do! I am also very interested in animal behavior, and can help train your puppy or work on basic obedience with your adult dog. My old girl, Leyla, is 13 years old and is truly part of the family! I consider her my first baby. I understand how much your furry family member means to you and will treat them as if they were one of my own! Please feel free to reach out and ask me any other questions that you may have.
Reviews
Taylor was excellent! I especially liked that she gave a detailed report as she left. She was very thorough.
We couldn't have picked a better dog sitter if we tried! Taylor was very on-point and detailed with her visits. She made our animals feel comfortable and sent us pictures of them when we were away. Sure makes a vacation that much better knowing your furry friends are in good hands. Thanks Taylor! Conclusion: ☆☆☆☆☆
Taylor is phenomenal! She is great with dogs and with her experience as a tech, she has all the skills and knowledge to make sure your doggo is treated rght! I would definitely recommend her.

When I stay at your home I try to keep your baby’s routine and normal as possible to minimize their stress while you’re gone. I typically prefer to do a “walk through” with you at one point or another before your trip so that I know where things are, the basic rules of the house for your baby and so they get used to seeing me in their home. I’ve found that pets are more comfortable if they’ve seen me in their house before, especially with mom or dad and I come off as less of a “stranger” that way. If you have a fenced in backyard, I always go outside first to check the gates are closed and I always stay out to watch them.
Information Taylor R. would like to know about your pet
I personally prefer to come to a meet and great and your home if you’re comfortable. This allows you to walk me through their daily routine, learn where their food is kept as well as leashes and treats. It also gives your babies an opportunity to get used to me in their home so I don’t come off as a stranger when you’re gone. Things I typically ask about are if your pet has any medical issues, medications, how your pet does around other animals (in case we encounter some on our walks) what basic command your pet is familiar with, if they are allowed on the furniture and if there are any rooms they aren’t allowed in. If I’m doing an overnight stay I’ll ask about their typical sleeping arrangements as well.
A typical day
Depending on the type of care you book and your specific requests I enjoy taking them for walks, playing in the back yard, or even just snuggling up and loving on them. With younger pups I’m happy to work on basic commands and leash manors as well.

Availability
Currently I work 3 days a week. Those are the days I am not available on my schedule. So if you see I’m available that means I have the majority of my time to commit to your baby.
