Worked at PetSmart in Maryland for three years as the head dog trainer there, teaching up to seven classes a day. We are stationed here in Hawaii and I would love to get back into the swing of things by being able to walk or drop in on your lovely animals. I love all animals, dogs, cats, you name it. Having been a dog trainer I understand body language, behavior, techniques on walking and so much more. Amongst my dog training days, I have also volunteered at my Vet clinic near my home. I would love to get my daily dose of pups and cats and will care for them like I do my students and my own pets. I really look forward to meeting you and your pet. Currently I am working/volunteering every other Saturday and Sunday. I also still work at PetSmart on those Saturdays, and have volunteered at a dog adventure park/boarding facility. As far as my Rover schedule, I primarily work (drop-ins and walks) Mon-Friday with the occasional Saturday Sunday for families needing drop ins for vacations. I have regulars generally from about 9am-1pm. But we can set up a meet and greet and you can take a look at my schedule and we can figure out where we can fit your pup in! Because I love adding new dogs to my daily walking/drop in schedule. I always like to set up a meet and greet before a booking for drop ins or even walks, especially if you are going to be allowing me into your home to have access to your dog/and their things (leashes, water bottles etc). The meet and greet allows me to get to know the home environment, where everything I might need for your pup is, and what I’m allowed access to. I like to make sure you are comfortable with me being in your home because yours and your dogs comfort is most important.

Taylor has been an amazing dog walker for our elderly dog Sam. We always looked forward to her daily photos and messages recapping her walk. At 15, our dog is a bit slower than he used to be and Taylor was great at accommodating him and making sure he was comfortable. Even if he didn't feel like walking, she spent time with him and gave him some loving before leaving. I highly recommend Taylor's services and wish we could continue using her at our new home.
I have a rambunctious young, very strong GSD with lots of energy to burn. We met Taylor who handled him with confidence and care and reliably came every day while I was at work to take him out for a walk and potty break. I trusted her with my beloved dog and my house. She text daily reports and photos of their walks and was flexible with walk times. She understands how to communicate with dogs and is able to get them to respond to her in a positive way. I highly recommend her pet services, she has proven to be a trustworthy, responsible, patient, and above all compassionate pet caregiver.
Taylor was my dog Jack’s babysitter for almost two years, from the time he was a 3 month old pup all the way to adulthood. She’s been nothing but professional and caring to the point where both Jack and myself were sad when we moved off island and could no longer lean on her for help. There’s no one I trust more with my pup than Taylor and I can’t recommend her enough.
Taylor was great! She is communicative, provided fun pictures, and was great to work with. Thank you for taking great care of our cat!

Information Taylor P. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences when it comes to sitting/dropping in. All breeds are great breeds. However I would like to know if they have any behavioral issues with strangers and may need some reassurance with treats or anything you have in mind. I would also like to know if they have any special quirks such as food aggression, toy aggression, or any kind of reactivity they may have to certain actions or sounds, etc. Anything out of the ordinary. As well as anything positive you’d like to let me know like some other favorite games, toys, things to do to exert any energy they any have.
A typical day
While taking your pup on a walk, I could even work with them on some walking techniques I did during my training classes. Or if you know they just enjoy leading the pack then they can lead me all they want! I always bring treats on a walk as long as that’s permitted with the pet parent, and I can work on how they handle distractions out in the real world by asking them do different tasks along the walk and work with rewards! Whatever you feel they’d enjoy on their walk. As far as where I would walk them I can walk them around your own neighborhood if that’s what they are comfortable with, or I can take them in my car and drive them to my dog friendly neighborhood at Ewa Beach. Even take them on a trail or two if they’re close by. Whichever the parent prefers and whatever time permits.

I work at Petsmart every other Saturday, and dog walking and drop ins on Rover is my full time job. Your dog will have my full attention and experience during their visit!
