A fun, safe place for your pups!

Pet care experience

I am due with a new baby on Feb 21. If I don’t respond to your message, that is likely why. When I return from maternity leave, I will return to watching dogs slowly. Thanks for your understanding. About Taylor: I'm experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities and health. I have had dogs my entire life within the home. We currently have two dogs. I love dogs and have a HUGE heart for them. If my husband would let me, I'd currently have about ten of them ;) Over the past couple of years, I have done a ton of research about pet health, dog behavior and communication, so feel safe with your pups with me. I have been dog sitting for others since about 2012. I have been working on Rover and other platforms, off and on since about 2017- since my Shiva, was a puppy. ***I do my best to be as flexible as possible. That being said, please do respect my time. When we meet or book, we will come to an agreed upon drop off and pick up time. Should you be running late or early, I just ask that you give me a heads up. Reason being- about 10 minutes prior to your arrival, I ensure all dogs are secure in separate rooms or crates before opening the front door. This ensures no dogs escape out the door, and the stress is brought to a minimum for all.***

Taylor was an excellent caretaker for our pup while we were away. Fast responses for communication and always sent a daily update with a picture. Would highly recommend to any who need overnight boarding services!

Taylor was great! Our girl was well taken care of and clearly happy in photos I received during her stay and when we picked up. Taylor was also super flexible and easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

This was our dog’s first time being away from us. Taylor gave us daily updates and kept us up to date with any info we needed to know. Taylor was very nice and very good with dogs. Even her own dogs are very friendly and playful. Thank you Taylor for looking after our baby!

Safety, trust & environment

Environment: I have a large home with a fenced in yard. I have two dogs- one of which loves to play and will drain all of your pups energy if your pup will allow it. When not being supervised, all dogs are separated by gates within my home. When I am away from my home, my personal dogs are crated. I have extra wire crates for your pup so you don’t have to drag yours with you. (If your dog doesn’t like to be crated, we can work around that!) We also have tons of toys and dog beds. I try my best to maintain the same schedule for your pet as if you were there in order to minimize stress. We do have a 6 year old daughter. She lives with us part time. She is taught how to properly interact with animals, so there will be no funny business. She is not allowed to be around any animals, including our own, unattended.

Information Taylor N. would like to know about your pet

Information to prepare for Taylor: I would like a general overview of your dog-behavior, preferences, schedule, etc. I prefer this to be written down just to be safe. It can be on paper or within rover. Important key items are: Feeding times and amounts Is your dog food aggressive with humans or other dogs? Typical wake/sleep time Does your dog use a crate or free roam when not around, etc? Does your dog resource guard toys? If your dog rips up toys, do they ever ingest the stuffing or strings? Does your dog ever have accidents in the house? Does your male dog mark? I also like to include personal phone numbers for emergencies and vet information. If your pet is coming to spend time at my house, I recommend bringing the following at a minimum: Food An item that smells like you (tshirt or similar) Their favorite toy (optional) Treats (optional)

A typical day

Typical day: Depending on the day, we get up anytime between 6-9am. We immediately potty and have breakfast. We do multiple potty breaks a day. We go to bed anytime between 10-midnight with a potty break right before. My pups sleep in their own beds next to mine. A typical day during the week includes me working from home. My office is on the main floor. I allow each dog their own time to roam the house (with restrictions), relax on the couch and explore in the back yard (weather permitting). We do at least one group play time a day to get the energy out. If it’s nicer outside, we usually do much more! We enjoy going to the park, playing in my back yard, dog parks, walking around the neighborhood, etc when time permits! Your dog will be treated no differently as long as he/she will allow it.
