Peace of mind while you're away!
Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Taylor and I'd like to dog-sit for you! About me: I’m a native of New England. My family has lived in Chatham for many generations, since Francis Cooke on the Mayflower! I grew up in Chatham, MA, graduated from Chatham High School, volunteered in girl scouts, 4-H, worked for the town, refereed Saturday soccer games, and volunteered for community service. I graduated from Brown University and was recruited from the national basketball AAU team the RI Breakers to play on Brown’s Division 1 women’s basketball team. Looking forward to hearing from you! All the best, Taylor Why I love dog sitting My family rescued, bred, and showed English Bulldogs for over 20 years. We had many other animals, too: rabbits, chickens, cats, geese. We love animals like they're family. My mother still jokes and says that my little sister misses me, meaning Bertie, her rescued English Bulldog misses me! My experience administering medication Yes. I've treated many different types of ailments from skin rash, to cherry eye, to sensitive ears.

Taylor took great care of my two dogs while we were away on a gross and snowy weekend. She left our house in excellent shape and did a great job of keeping us updated while we were away. Bonus points for taking care of our one dog who at the time was on multiple medications with complicated doses. I look forward to having Taylor take care of the pups again in the future.
This was our first Rover experience and Taylor was amazing. She returned my emails and came over when asked for the scheduled meet and greet. She was very willing to share details about who she was, which made us very comfortable. During our Trip Taylor initiated communication multiple times daily and also sent numerous pictures. When we returned home I think our pups were a little upset to see us greeting them at the door and not Taylor. Taylor was great and I would highly recommend her to Rover users. In the future we plan on contacting her for any future pet sitting needs.
Sent updates daily including pictures, when I saw my dog again he was a happy pup. Taylor took time to meet oscar before staying with him.
Unfortunately what we agree upon as far as level of care was not met. We came home from a weekend away to find our dog had at least two accidents on our bed, resulting in us needing a new comforter and mattress. Our dog never has accidents at home as he can hold it for a very long time, and will let you know when he needs to be taken out. The conclusion we came to from finding his urine and fecal matter all over our bed was that he was left alone often and not taken out in a timely manner. We request he never been left alone for more than 5 hours, and this request was not complied with. Our neighbors informed us that Taylor's car was rarely there. It's not worth typing the entire story of what we found and what happened upon our return, but we needed to be refunded from the weekend due to a clear lack of the agreed upon job being completed. There are many sitters on this site, and we've used a few and been very happy with them. I highly recommend not using Taylor as your dog will not be a priority. The frustration of having to replace my bedding and mattress is no where near the heartache I felt when I realized my dog was left essentially alone all week with infrequent walks and not nearly enough attention. Use a different sitter.

Yes, please do tell me all about them. It's important to me that they feel safe and happy. Dog kennels are loud and cold and breed diseases. I have no preference of breed type.
