I am a name is Taylor! ☺️ I absolutely love all animals and always have. I have a ton of experience with animals, especially cats and dogs from rescuing to fostering animals. Our house is over 2000 sq. Feet with an unfenced yard but we built a fenced in area for our cats and small dog Sandy. We call it our “catio” and it is a nice outdoor play area for our cats to get a taste of the outdoors safely and a place I can bring our dog to hang. Our home is made of myself, my boyfriend of seven years,our cats and shitzu Sandy. We live a slow and relaxed lifestyle and both work from home so our pets and jobs get the full attention they deserve. I belong to a group called NVADG as a volunteer mainly during summer and I have been trained to rescue all types of animals behind fire lines or floods and they work with police and firemen of all counties throughout California.. I have volunteered for the SPCA, the NCA (neighborhood cat advocates) and I am a first responder in Animal Evac on call all volunteer work! I have learned and practiced sheltering in place for the North Valley animal disaster group and became dog lead my third day. I am trained and skilled to not only evacuate animals safely but also -I’m certified in many types of training like pet cpr and I truly understand and LOVE animal behavior. I have owned more dogs in my life personally but when I became older (I’m 32) I started rescuing and TNRing cats but I do LOVE BOTH cats and dogs EQUALLY! My boyfriend and I have a small non prof none 501c rescue and I have spayed and neutered over 100+ cats all based on help from donations and some organizations in R Butte County. I do hope own a certificated 501c rescue organization one day but for now I take my hobby into volunteering and this job with rover. My parents live on a 3 acre farm about ten minutes away and I love visiting the property there with dogs I’ve sat before. Animals are a huge part of my heart and I have full confidence in control and animal safety. I have a very chill aura and non-anxiety around dogs that like to escape as (we called them runners) I am comfortable with small dogs that do nip as long as they are vaccinated and taken care of I understand some Chihuahuas have their Defense and I’m okay with working with the animal. I love to utilize patience and I love to analyze animal behavior. I am really fully confident and feel comfortable around 99% of cats and dogs. After volunteering and working with burned and scared animals with PTSD I have developed great sense working with animals and their own anxiety. I have no siblings so animals were my siblings growing up 😉 I am a natural loving nurturing woman who will take care of your kids as they were mine. Thank you, Taylor Corey.
