Pet care experience
My love of animals has been a life long affair, including having worked for BARCS the Baltimore city open admissions animal shelter , as well as fostering dogs, and even traveling to Peru to care for homeless animals. Caring for animals is not just a career for me, but also something I strongly believe in. I have experience with nervous and fearful dogs, and I am comfortable giving medication as well. I treat your pets as I do my own, with the same love and attention they deserve. An owner going away can be a confusing time for pets, so I am happy to give them that extra time and affection to make sure they can relax and the owner gets peace of mind their pet is well taken care of.

Taylor took care of my French bulldog Mochi while I worked. She updated me 2 times a day, even asked if I wanted more updates too! I could tell Mochi had a blast with Taylor. I definitely recommend Taylor to watch your fur babies and I’ll for sure be back!
I highly recommend Taylor. She was available at the last minute to take care of my cats. She interacted with them and did a thorough job of feeding them and cleaning their litter box. I will definitely contact her again when I go out of town.

Our pup loved her time with Taylor and we were completely comfortable with her, her home, and the Rover process. From the first contact, Taylor was informative and clearly experienced in caring for pets. Her home is clean and ready for boarding. She kept our dog for 3 days and when we picked Shasta up, she was well worn out from good healthy walks in the woods. We got regular communications over the long weekend, but not over-the-top frequency. We'll leave her again and again.

I have a soft spot for large and bully breed dogs! Having worked in a shelter I am confident in handling dogs with moderate behavioral challenges.
A typical day
Long walks, runs(if dog is physically fit), tug of war, tag.... You name it, me and your pup are going to play it! I also enjoy making sure dogs have both physical and mental stimulation on walks- plenty of time to sniff and explore.

I’m currently working part time from home- so can easily fit boarding clients and daily walks into my schedule! This allows me to watch your pet on the schedule most convenient for you/them.
