Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and currently have a cat I’ve cared for independently for 3 years. I also fostered 2 bonded bunnies for 2 months this year, and through Rover have cared for guinea pigs as well. I’m comfortable being involved in walking, bathing, and playing with pets. I also have experience with oral medications, and do not have a problem administering medicine if your pet has a medical issue, granted we meet ahead of time so I can be clear on how to administer it. I don’t scare easily and am very patient with animals that may need some time to warm up to me! Whether you need a short drop in visit, a dog walking or extended house sitting stays, I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

Taylor did great watching cookie. Would happily use her again
Taylor was great with our two medium sized dogs for
Taylor is very patient and understanding when it comes to our dogs needs. Looking forward to many more walks to come!
Taylor did an awesome job taking care of our two chihuahua's at our house. She was easy to coordinate with and gave us frequent updates on how things were going. The dogs got to know her and enjoyed her company while we were gone. Taylor was flexible in taking care of them and handling their special needs. We would totally recommend Taylor and plan to have her watch the dogs again soon.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in Capitol Hill. I have a car and bike to commute. I currently have an older male cat at home who is neutered and up to date on vaccines. I live near lots of walking areas that are not too car heavy and am also happy to walk your pet in an area away from other animals as needed as well. I may ask you if we can schedule a meet and greet for house sitting stays and repeat drop in visits. This is both for my safety and so we can ensure we are on the same page with what you expect of me while I am caring for your pet. If I have learned anything from my time on Rover so far, it is clear communication helps me take care of your pet better and you be more satisfied with my services :)
Information Taylor H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pet has any medical or behavior quirks ahead of time. I usually will request a meeting a pet ahead of time for house sitting or repeated drop in visits to see how we interact and ask some more questions in person. Additionally, some questions I like to know the answer to are: - At what times/ how often does your pet get walked and for how long? - Feeding times and amounts; are these consistent? - Any medical issues, problems or concerns about being too close to other animals - Specifically what you expect from me with service. How long would you like me to spend with your pet, do they get played with, would you like photos and if so what kind and how many, etc. - Anything else I should know about your pet that can help me provide great service!
A typical day
I love going to parks and walking dogs around town. I would be excited to take a pet to a park near you to get some exercise! I love being outside and am excited to explore different parts of Seattle’s neighborhoods while caring for your pet. I am happy to throw the ball with your pet or help them exert energy in any way you would like.

Availability
I am not currently working and have plenty of time to care for your pets. Come October, I will be a full time graduate student, and will still have the flexibility in my schedule to continue providing care. I am happy to spend extended time with your pet and enjoy taking animals on long walks and to parks around Seattle.
