It is important for me to know your dog (or other animal) inside & out so I can properly prepare for them. Breed/size, temperament, food & exercise habits, what animals they can or cannot be around and special needs are some of the essentials I would like to know before hand. If your pet(s) requires a high maintenance care routine, I am a fast learner if you are able to provide me with the instructions I need. I am patient with even the slowest of elderly pets & aim to not only please you as my client but also your pet as my personal guest. If you require specific certification(s) of anything in particular for your pet, please reach out & I will certainly find a credible establishment to train me in such matters. I want to provide the best & most genuine service to your family. Background information that may help put your mind at ease: I had an elderly cat who required medicated food during scheduled times, medicine every morning, an “as needed” medicine for certain occasions (orally) & a monthly steroid shot. Dash also needed fluids given by needle (IV style) from home that I took care of twice a week. I do have basic experience for special needs animals. Walks: I always make sure to bring a pop-out doggy bowl, bottled water, a tennis ball, potty bags, some treats and a towel or wipes incase they need to be wiped down. Pictures will be sent throughout the walk to show your pet is getting some fun exercise in! I like to incorporate walk training such as "walk nice" which is when your pet walks beside you rather than walk in front or pull on the leash. Keep in mind that every animal is different and it may take a few times for them to understand their training but I keep at it nonetheless. Overall, I like to keep your fluffy family member's experience fun! Doggy Day Care: Dogs love play dates & can make a new friends when coming over to the house. A large un-fenced (yet supervised) yard is perfect for safe play, many scattered toys to explore and a little pool to cool off in. When it comes time for something new, the winding neighborhood is perfect for walk and runs. Being close to downtown gives your dog a fun experience with new smells, a casual, social stroll and even some playtime at the beach (with pet parent's permission of course). I like to incorporate various training, treats or toys during each visit, giving your dog (or other animal) an exciting day while making sure they are mentally stimulated with knowledge & memories. Your pet is in good hands with me & will certainly be given the royal treatment. -Optional add ons: free baths, photoshoots, paw painting and paw prints. (Pricing varies based on your desired size/props) House Sitting: I aim to provide the best service whether it's my home or yours. Rest assured that your pets will be given love and attention as if they were my own! I offer training during free time as well, such as: sit, lay, paw, high-five, speak, roll-over and "walk nice" which is when your pet walks beside you rather than walk in front or pull on the leash. The well-being of your cute "floof" and home will be in the same condition or better upon your return. Your pet's safety is number one on my list, should I suspect something is wrong, I will make sure to contact the owners immediately or a pet emergency clinic should it be an emergency. Please note I do not have stay over night for House Sitting but will do so if it is the owners preference. In this case, I try to stay a majority of the day, for example: 8:00am - 8:00pm. Boarding: Boarding will be the same as Doggy Day Care including overnight stays. You may bring your dog's own crate, bed, toys, treats or anything you feel he or she needs to make them more comfortable during their stay. Rest assured that your cute floof will be treated is my own and given much love, care and attention. Please note that your pet cannot have any fleas or other disease that can spread to other dogs or persons. This is a strict condition for the safety and well-being of other dog guests, their owners and persons residing in the household. A photo and time-stamp will be provide upon each check-in. Love, attention and yummy treats will be given to make sure your fluffy family member doesn't get lonely! Holidays & Last-Minute: I am open to work during holidays and holiday season. Please keep in mind the spots and service will be limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. If you or your family have an unexpected event or emergency come up, I am flexible is assisting or opening up a service.
