Pet care experience
My Havanese-Poodle mix, Charlie, died in August of '22 and instead of getting another pooch right away, I'm now a sitter on Rover! I know and *love* the ins and outs of caring for pets--have cared for them since I was a small child. As my youth, in addition to caring for cats and dogs, we also had guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, turtles, fish, frogs, lizards, and snakes. Toward the end of his life, my dog Charlie had been diagnosed with a few mild but chronic issues that I helped ease every day and night. Also, shortly before my elderly cat died (RIP 12/2021) he required injections of saline solution on a weekly basis for two months.

I enjoy a very clean home. Also, my couch cushions and pillow cases are washable so they're also regularly laundered. Your dog can sleep on my bed if necessary as long you bathe him or her just prior to dropping off. My back door is propped open during the day when I'm not present so your baby can go in and out at will. If you prefer I can lock him/her in while gone; I am of course happy to oblige!

I'd like to know if there are any limitations or unique habits or proclivities you'd like me to know about your beloved pet. I am quite adaptable and able-bodied and will always do what is in my power to make your pet's life with me meaningful and happy. Nothing is more precious to me than a happy dog's face looking back at me.
A typical day
FYI: Your dog(s) and cat(s) need to be fully up-to-date on vaccinations (according to their age), and take/have applied monthly flea meds for me to spend time with them. No exceptions, sorry. :) When Charlie was alive and well, we walked twice per day. There's a dog park close by but he wasn't into it. If your dog likes dog parks, I can take him or her either by foot or via car (I have a crate in the back seat or we could use whatever contraption you use to secure your pet while traveling). My neighborhood is safe, clean and quiet.

Availability
As long as I can get my sports/workouts done several days per week (usually in the mornings for a couple hours), I am good go to and free to watch your baby(ies) the rest of the day and night (and to my heart's delight). I enjoy staying home whenever I'm able.
