The only time your pup will enter a crate is during feeding times and sleep times for overnight stays. *3 dog limit means your dog gets treated like a part of our family. *Located 1.4 miles from a trusted vet. *Located 2 miles from park *Multiple daily photo updates so you can see your pet is happy. *All our guests will have Outside potty breaks EVERY 0-2 hours to ensure that your dog doesn't develop potty training regression. *Can administer oral medication if necessary and is familiar with dog CPR and first aid. *Sidewalk around my subdivision for daily walks and exercise *My partner and I working as a team means twice the amount of love for your pets. *To ensure your dog is comfortable you can pack a bed, blanket, toys, and treats and of course your dog's own food. We do provide toys of our own for your pups's stay with us to play with and blankets if they want to cozy up. The long version: My name is Taylor and I am a 27 year old, energetic, stay at home mama of 1 son and fur mama of 1 dog! I spend most of my days playing with my son (who is 6 but has been taught about boundaries with animals) and my black Labrador dog, Floki. This is a MAJOR reason why I want to be a part of the Rover team and take care of your pets. I would love to spend my day with animals playing fetch or tug of war or even going on walks. I am a part of ResQwalk which is an organization/app that tracks my distance for walking and donates an amount to the pet company of my choice based on my distance. I currently have it set to the Kentucky Humane Society. My schedule is mostly open and flexible. I would love to use my time giving animals a fun retreat/getaway! You can be sure that daily photos of your fur baby will be sent your way! Whether you prefer calls, texts,or email check-ins I am your girl. I have had dogs since birth, most years multiple dogs at one time. I have been raised around miniature poodles, shih tzus, labs, border collies, Newfoundlands, German shepherds, and many mixtures of dogs too! I have cared for pets overnight for a couple weeks at a time. I have administered oral medication for dogs with health issues as well. I also have taken an online course in dog first aid and CPR. Also, I live 1.4 miles away from my preferred animal clinic and hospital so I can get there very quickly in the event of an emergency. I provide a cozy home, tons of love, play time, toys, cuddles, and of course a doggy of my own for best friend companionship with your pup! Floki has been around many dogs and gets very excited when a new friend comes his way. Our home is a decent size, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a covered back deck, and a covered front porch. Safety first is our motto. We have a 6ft privacy fenced in backyard to exercise the dogs safely. This is something we offer if you pet parents wish us to take advantage of during your dog’s stay. Our neighborhood has a wrap around sidewalk for plenty of walking with your precious pups. I walk Floki 2-3 times a day always on his leash. Remember, a bored dog is a naughty dog so don't leave your dog at home to bark all day. Bring your pup over instead. They will thank you for it. Your dog will be in GREAT hands! Your fur baby will LOVE their little getaway at our home!
