We have used Taylor about 5 times now. We notice that the care level went down with each stay. We actually felt really bad for our dogs having to stay at home with him this past stay. Last say we came home to our 17 year old dog laying in a puddle of her own urine and from the mess, it felt like she had been there for a while. We always book Taylor to house sit, and expected him to stay the night with the dogs and be at the house some. We did not expect him to live at our house, but to be there in the evenings and some hours through out the day. Taylor would come over for let outs a couple times of day and then would lock the dogs in our room and leave for the night. We contacted him many times and he would never be at our house. He was always at at friend's birthday party, getting groceries, at his house for a quick trip. Our dogs are 17 and 15 and we just needed better care then this. It was a really stressful we weekend for us. We were constantly having to check on him to remind him to go over and let them out. There were many many accidents and the dogs were really stressed and unhappy when we got home. I guess because we have used him many time and he got away with the low lever of care, he thought he could continue that way. It was just really disappointing and sad for the dogs. I just don't understand why he accepted the job if he didn't want to do it. If you are looking for someone to just stop by some during the weekend, than Taylor will be what you need. If you are wanting someone to house sit and spend time with your dogs, you should look for another option. We will not be using Taylor again.
