Veterinary Student Sitter

Pet care experience

You won’t find a bigger animal lover than me! 🥰 🐱 About me 🐱 I’m currently third year veterinary student at Iowa State University. I also received my Bachelors in Animal Science from ISU! I’m married, so I am able to leave my husband to hold down my fort so I can take care of yours! We have two Golden Retrievers & 2 cats 🦮🦮🐱🐱 🐶 Experiences 🐶 Before vet school, I worked at a local animal hospital as a veterinary technician for 5 years. Because of my experience, I am confident in my ability to handle all shapes, sizes and attitudes of your fur babies. Other experiences of mine include: emergency medicine (BluePearl), internal medicine internship, canine behavior internship (ARL), zoo medicine internship and volunteer time at the local racetrack. Upon request, I am able to provide trustworthy references.

Taylor was phenomenal! Our cat is super shy and has to take three doses of oral medication a day. Taylor did a great job with her and sent detailed updates/pictures. We will definitely request her services again!

Taylor is amazing. Best pet sitter for our sweet elderly cat, Lola. I highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment

🐩 Safety, trust & environment 🐩 Please let me know any likes/dislikes of your pet before my stay! I am a big believer in enrichment and engagement, so knowing your pet’s preferences will allow me to tailor my interactions to them. I generally prefer to meet the pet before staying/visiting- this helps build a relationship & prevents the “stranger danger” feel.

Information Taylor B. would like to know about your pet

With my advanced experience handling animals, there isn’t a pet I would be afraid taking care of. As a veterinary student and a veterinary technician; I have the skills and knowledge to be able to handle any situation that arrises.

Availability

🐕‍🦺 Scheduling 🐕‍🦺 ❗️My schedule will change starting late August (once school starts again). Due to the high demands of veterinary school, the number of bookings I can take will be decreased. This is just so I can give my undivided attention to the pets under my care. My calendar will be updated frequently to best represent my availability ❗️ I’m unable to take pets into my home due to small school housing, but I will gladly come to you. This summer I am very free. I just need to be at the vet school 1pm-4pm (sometimes shorter, sometimes longer). I keep my Rover calendar availability up to date. I really enjoy being active & busy. I would love to take your dog on a walk or run, even many times a day!
