Vet tech w/ quality experience

Pet care experience

I work in an animal hospital, caring for your pets and attending to their medical care is my day to day. When my clinic did boarding, I was the technician mostly responsible for their care. I pet sat in college and I still do it occasionally for co-workers. I’m looking to expand that occasional practice. I have experience with training, rehabilitation, post-op care, geriatric care, special needs, potty training, etc. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement training and in exercising both the body and mind. I’m comfortable administering any and all medications. I’m also comfortable with providing services like baths and nail trims so long as it is not too stressful for your pet.

She was a good walker. Bella loved just loved her! I’d highly suggest her for your walking or any needs! Thanks Taylor! I’m so glad I could find Bella a new friend!

Taylor is great with all animals. She does a wonderful job with our dogs. She has even house set for us and taken care of everything. We even have a pet pig, that she didn't mind letting out to roam and took excellent care of. She is going to school currently to be a veterinarian, so she knows a lot about animals. She is excellent at dog walking as well. If you want your dog to be safe, have fun, and burn up some of that energy; she is the perfect person. Taylor is also good with assisting in training dogs on a leash and even to commands. One of our dogs is a puppy and not exactly leashed trained yet, she does such a super job with him. I would definitely recommend her, and she can walk dogs of all sizes. She has a way with animals and they all seem to love her.

Safety, trust & environment

My crew is in a pretty tight schedule. We wake up at 6:00 am to go on walks, I have 4 acres, but it is not fenced in so everyone is on a leash. When we head back in it’s time for breakfast with their joint supplements and Dobby’s Benadryl. They then get some play time while I get ready for the day. When I get home from work we go out to potty again. I make dinner while they play and they eat when I eat. The rest of the day is spent cuddling, playing, and completing puzzles.

Information Taylor B. would like to know about your pet

Any special needs or medications, as well as temperament and quirks. Their routine is also very important. I feel it’s important to understand the relationship between each dog and their owner, that’s how you will best attend to their needs.

A typical day

All dogs have their own preferences. I choose to let them pick. I do like to mentally stimulate them and get the using their brains with training and puzzles.

I work full time with no honest guarantee that when the clinic doors close I get to go home. I’m often the last one out the door or pulled into emergency surgery. That being said, just like I make accommodations for my animals I will for yours. I prefer to pet sit on weekends when I have more time.
