Hello! I am a recent MPH graduate from UIC and am working as a Clinical Research Coordinator full-time. My schedule has a bit of flexibility and I’d love to pick back up helping out folks and their pets in the area! I have lots of experience with pets! I grew up with both dogs and cats and worked as a kennel attendant at Alpine Animal Hospital in Lake Zurich, IL for over 3 years. As a kennel attendant, I was expected to walk the dogs, feed all animals on site, administer any medications, and give all the animals lots of love until their owners picked them up! This position required me to care for people's pets with the utmost respect. Along with working as a kennel attendant, I have also house-sat for people with animals numerous times. I have stayed over a week at multiple family's houses while they are enjoying their vacation, making sure all pets are taken care of and the house is clean. If necessary, I don't mind sleeping over at the house as well! I commonly cat-sit for friends during long weekends while they are out of town. I have experience with service dogs. Though I do not have a service animal myself, my cousin has an autism service dog. I have spent extensive time with him and feel comfortable with general handling techniques. I currently live with a service dog in the house and care for him daily.
