Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals all my life, really. However, I have only been pet/ house sitting since I was 15 and old enough to drive myself. I am currently a full time vet assistant working at the local humane society, with 2 years of experience working at a vet clinic as an assistant. I am able to identify lameness/illness in dogs and cats and am able to administer all meds including subcutaneous fluids and insulin.

Taylor was awesome! My dog is anxious but she warmed up so quick with Taylor. And actually ate food when we were on vacation for several days. We felt very comfortable with her watching over everything. Definitely would book taylor again for drop in or house sitting again.
We highly recommend Taylor B. She cared for our two dogs and bird in our home. They were very well cared for and we did not have to worry at all while we traveled. It is clear to us that she cared about our pets and loves what she does. She is very responsible and responsive. She was also a considerate and respectful guest in our home. We will definitely be hiring her again.
I have personally worked along side Taylor and have witnessed her passion for caring for animals. There is no doubt she would be a good fit for any of your pet care needs. Horses, dogs, cats, chickens... she does it all! No animal is too big or too small. 😊
Taylor has cared for my animals many times and is always there when I need her to be. She has such a way with animals! It almost seems like she the dog whisperer. My Alaskan Malamute has very bad anxiety and is scared of even flies. Taylor is the only person who has been able to make friend with Fluffy. She is an amazing girl all around and know her way around the animals heart!!

I will make sure your pets have plenty of water and food to keep them happy. The first thing I do when I get to the home is let the animals out to stretch their legs and go potty. If needed, I am willing to walk the dog(s) on a leash outside to use the bathroom. Along with that, I will check the house for any accidents and gladly clean them up. As I have stated before, I am quick to realize if something is off with your fur babies, such as illness or lameness. I am a frequent flyer at the local veterinary clinics and emergency clinics nearby (thanks to working at the humane society lol), so that may help ease your mind a bit while you are away!

Please let me know if your fur baby has any special needs or needs medication. This includes having anxiety, seizures, diabetes, lameness, or just plain fear. I am very experienced in dealing with animals with all of these problems and more, as they come in to my job every day!
A typical day
It is important to me that dogs, especially the larger breeds, are able to get outside and play! My favorite place to take my own dog on a walk is at the beach to let him play in the water!

Availability
I’m currently working full time at the animal shelter. My work day usually starts at 10am and ends at 6pm. It is very easy for me to “sneak” away from work and go on a quick break to let your fur babies out during any down time I have at work! As we are a humane society, everyone understands the importance of pets getting their potty breaks during the work day!
