A Compassionate Canine Caretaker
Pet care experience
I'm hoping to hangout with and care for other dogs to earn some extra money, as well as to help my Australian Kelpie get some socializing and play time in. I grew up in Oregon with numerous dogs (Dalmatian, Bernese Mt Dog, Malinois, Pit Bull) as well as cats, ferrets, hermit crabs, salamanders, goldfish, and chickens. I love animals, and I would've became a vet if I wasn't so queasy around hospital settings. I guarantee your pup will love being with me, go on frequent walks, and enjoy playing with my Ginny. I have known Taylor his entire life, during his youth and most of his adult life Taylor has actively participated in the care and well being of a variety of household pets, from dogs, cats and ferrets to chickens. He has demonstrated compassion and empathy in the handling and care of all of these animals. One example of the amount of compassion Taylor has with dogs was with his family dog Helen. Helen was a Dalmatian born deaf. It was in Helen's best interest to be trained in sign language and lots of patience and sympathy was needed in the care of her. He has experience in bathing, nail clipping, special diets and even giving insulin shots to a small diabetic Min Pin. Taylor is a responsible adult willing to share his love of animals with others and I would highly recommend him for all your pet needs.
For as long as I've known Taylor, (which is quite a long time at this point) animals have always been a big part of his life. Taylor is a caring and empathetic individual, which naturally carries over to his interactions with animals. He also has plenty of experience handling dogs and taking care of them, so he really makes for the perfect dog caregiver. I know I would certainly trust him with my little guy!

Availability
I'm currently a Hydrologist with the National Weather Service, so I take my dog out before and after work. I try to get in some sort of fun activity with my dog every weekday - or at least on the weekends. My girlfriend is also working from home so she'll be able to look after any dogs that stay over.
