Very flexible, very friendly, very eager to meet your dog! (Or your cat!) I am an Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary donor and have cared for and owned dogs my entire life. I have experience home-sitting and dog-walking for various customers and friends growing up (and have been on Rover for over 3 years now sitting for upwards of 10 clients), but mostly I'm an American doing their graduate studies in BC! And contrary to my profile, most of my clients are recurring. :) I have a lot of experience with anxious or antisocial dogs and am lucky enough of a human that many nervous dogs take a quick liking to me, to the amazement of both me and owners! I know the importance of coming off nonthreatening to an anxious dog and have several approaches to make myself more trustworthy to your pup. :) Additionally, I've always slept with my dogs growing up, so if that's what your pup is used to, I am more than happy to comply! During home stays, I deliver updates 2-5 times a day and will report on your dog's comfort level, cute things (with accompanying photographic proof of how cute it was), and your pup's eating habits and stool for the day (pictures not included for the latter). ;) Along with anything else you need (plants watered, mail collected, household updates, etc).
