I have cared for dogs my entire life. When I was little I had an Eskimo Spits and a Mountain Cur. I also have experience with tiny dogs and huge dogs since my family has a Chihuahua ( all of 10 pounds) and a German Shepard-Hound Mix (all of 170 pounds). I, myself, currently have one Pit-Terrier-Corgi mix and one Pit-Chihuahua mix so I know all about the separation anxiety that some animals get when the parents leave and all about the energy that dogs can have. I also have experience with cats (as I have four inside and one outside) and reptiles (as I have two bearded dragons and have worked at UT's Reptile Ethology labs with snakes, turtles and the worlds second largest lizard) so nothing can surprise me. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs all my life. First, am Eskimo Spitts. Then, a Mountain Curr, both until they were seniors. One Mini Pincher made its ways inot my home as well for a brief time period before finding his forever home. Currently I have one Pit-Corgi-Terrier mix and one Pit-Chihuhua-Pointer mix. They are both young and active but come with their fair share of allergies. My experience administering medication I have done pills and syringes to my own animals (cats, dogs, and lizards) so I'm more than okay with that. I have only given shots to snakes before but I have been with the person giving the shots to dogs so I know what to expect.
