We work at home running our small organic farming business Gratefull Gardens, so we can give your dog lots of attention, bathroom breaks and space to move. We have a big farm with lots of space for dogs to run and play freely. We have several large, fenced areas, so you do not have to worry about your dog running away. Our entire property is also fenced, and we sit about a quarter mile off the road so this gives us more protection also. My boyfriend and I both love dogs and will give your dog the best care and attention while you are away on vacation. As you can see from our reviews, we make your dog a priority while it is staying with us. We only offer boarding at our farm but can do a doggie daycare visit with you if you are interested in future boarding. We have a big fenced in area with shade all day, water, and space for your dog to get exercise during the day. We have several fenced paddocks, so we can keep dogs separated, while we are not supervising. If your dog does not get along with other dogs or is scared of other dogs, we can keep them separate. We always feed dogs separately, as this can be a normal time where some dogs can be aggressive. We always have safety as the top of our priority. A couple times a day, we go on a long walk around our “personal dog park,” where they can be off leash. This is a 3 acre completely fenced area where dogs can run, play ball, and play with each other. It has a big hill, so they get lots of running going up and down it. In warm months, we like to take the dogs to a creek that runs down the edge of the property into a pond to cool off. We will be sure to send you pictures and updates while you are away because we know how much you'll miss your best friend! Your doggie will have a blast on their farm vacation. We have one dog named Layla who is super sweet and gets along with all other dogs. She loves to play, but if your dog is not interested in playing, then she just does her own thing. Her favorite thing in the world is ball and stick so we spend a lot of time playing ball and stick with her and the other dogs. We are used to taking care of a dog daily and will treat your doggo like our own. We are early risers, so we get the dogs outside first thing, and they get a lot of activity all day. We spend a lot of time with the dogs, making sure they get a lot of exercise is a priority for us. When they exercise a lot, then they are more relaxed and listen better too. We are around most of the time, so all dogs get a lot of love, attention, and exercise. We can easily take care of dogs that have special needs, are very old, or nervous and scared. We are comfortable giving medication, or feeding different diets with raw food etc. Just let us know what your dog needs, and we will do our best to provide it for them. Our last dog died of cancer way to early (RIP DIEGO) which is very sad, but also gave us the experience of taking care of a dog with special needs.
