This was my first time utilizing Rover as a service. To be transparent, I am in between how I feel about this experience. Although I believe my pups basic needs were met, I equally believe the hiccup I experienced contributes to this review. There was an accident in the crate in which my pup wasn’t taken out until around 10:00am. At drop off, there was communication about the routine and being taken out early. She did attempt to clean the padding per my request, however, the crate itself was extremely filthy when I picked up. There was dry poop and what appeared to be pieces of puppy pads that had been stuck between the bars, it also smelled bad. Additionally, there were a few areas on my pups coat with dry poo. I understand that things happen, however I expected a more attentiveness to the cleanliness considering this happened on day one of four. I’d recommend having the details of your pets routine written prior to booking so that the sitter can fully commit to the needs of your fur baby.

She was not proactive in keeping me informed, and I had to continuously ask about the wellbeing of my dog.
