Hello! My name is Tatum. I feel comfortable with all animals of varying sizes and breeds. I currently have one Blue Heeler dog named Meeko who has trained me to understand activity and patience are the keys to a happy relationship with your dog. Bookings are customizable and can include walks, play time, feeding, bathing, administering medicine, and even scheduled visits to the vet or groomer for a small fee. Weekends are completely open for scheduling or pet sitting as needed. My house is also available for puppy stay-cations with regularly scheduled visits to hiking trails or parks. I have been a pet sitter for 10+ years off and on, but have also taken Veterinary Assistant classes at Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina between my undergraduate and graduate school work.

Tatum is a wonderful dog sitter! She was responsive to my emails, made a great impression at our meet-and-greet, and took great care of Sadie. Sadie made fast friends with Tatum's 2 dogs, who are both lovable sweethearts. Tatum sent adorable pictures during Sadie's stay of the dogs playing together. The whole process of working with Tatum was easy and comfortable, and I would definitely hire her again. Highly recommended!
We could tell our Weim had a great time with Tatum and her dog. She was great in communication providing us daily updates and pics. Will surely contact her again and would recommend to anyone looking for boarding

Tatum was everything you want in a sitter. She was prompt in response, extremely professional (asked all the right questions, had all the right answers), and most importantly, you can tell she knows her way around dogs. She was not phased by Trooper's overbearing greetings and overall excitability. And she was accommodating to their needs in terms of human contact. i.e. they need a lot of it. I will definitely request her again.

I live in a two bedroom, spacious apartment steps away from Astoria park and local dog parks and greenways for outdoor playtime. My dog is friendly and will keep your fur babies company during their stay away from home. If your dog prefers access to crates for comfort, one large crate can be provided with open door policy if requested.

I am happy to watch any dog of any size or breed type. I would love to get to know them with a short meet and greet before any visit. It would also be good to know what commands they know, dietary restrictions, medical concerns/vet contact, and temperament around other animals and/or in public settings. I believe that communication with the pet owner is key to ensure a happy stay for any dog!
A typical day
There will be a variety of activities your dog will be able to participate in during their stay with me! Multiple walks outdoors and playtime with my dog is guaranteed daily. If the owner allows, short runs and hikes on local trails and park visits are often planned.

Availability
My work outside of Rover allows for a flexible schedule and for me to work from home. Pet care is the upmost importance and will be top priority throughout the day and night. Additional care besides playtime, walks and cuddles are available upon request. No request is too small to ensure your pet is happy and comfortable.
