*Hello, I'm currently employed as a Kennel Tech at an animal hospital in Wethersfield and would like to take care of pets in my free time as well! *I have taken care of farm animals including; chickens, goats, horses, and sheep *I have exotic animal care experience; Hedgehogs, snakes, lizards, birds *I interned at TRAK- Therapeutic Ranch for Animals and Kids *I've worked at a Girl Scout Camp in Amarillo,Texas as their assistant riding instructor and cared for 20 horses *I also love cats and have experience with them as well *I have worked with dogs from the size of toy poodles to the size of great danes and have attended many petsmart dog training classes. *During the summers I am a trail guide for a ranch in CO which means I have great horsemanship skills and people skills. *I was a pre-vet major my first 2 years of college and i am now a nursing major. Your pets wellbeing will always be my number 1 priority

Tatum has watched my 2 dogs multiple times. And every time I have trusted her 100%, she really does a great job. I have a three legged dog who weighs about 14 pounds and a very nervous 50 lb dog, so both require very different walks. She has always handled them both perfectly! She is very respectful, responsible, and passionate with animals. She is always the first person I call whenever I need someone to watch my dogs.

During walks or drop in visits, I will listen to what your dog requires (long walks, short walks, more time to sniff on walks, or just a cuddle, etc.) And create a personalized routine for each pet.

Don't be afraid to be straight forward about your dog's likes, dislikes, or quirks. It is important for me to make your dog as comfortable as possible. For example, I would like to know if your dog is reactive to people or other dogs so I can adjust our walk to be as stress free as possible
A typical day
The biggest thing for me is stimulating your dogs mind! A dog with a tired mind is a happy dog. I love using DIY mentally stimulating games as well as adding in physically tiring activities.

While working at the animal hospital, I currently have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off during the week and only work every other weekend, leaving my schedule pretty flexible!
