I've owned a dog(s) my entire life, as an adult I've owned two dogs. Rex, passed away in December 2016 and Roxie, lives with my dad in Colorado. I love dogs and miss having one around. However, I have a 18 month old son who is a handful so having a dog full time isn't something that I would want right now. As a fix, I would like to start taking care of other's fur babies! We are always taking walks and going to the park which we would be happy to have a dog(s) join us! Dogs must be child friendly being that I have a young son and he will accompany me on house visits and walks. Also, obey basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, be gentle, and come. I would prefer dogs who stay with me to be potty trained. I require any new dog staying with us, in our home, to meet us beforehand. (With enough time for you to find another home if in the situation it does not work.) With my toddler running around, he must meet your dog and vice versa. Absolutely no exceptions.
