Pet care experience
I am a nurturer by nature having served human clients for 20 years in my massage-reiki business. But I thought it was time for me to spend more time outdoors with our-legged friends. I was a pet parent to Frida, me feline roommate, for 8 years, and to Caspar, my Maltese friend, who stole my heart and I can definitely say that after living with him for 3 years, I became a dog lover forever! This winter, 2022, Luna the Huskador, my neighbor’s dog, got me hooked on long walks. Since December 2022, I am a proud owner of a 9 year old Red-Nosed Pitbull named Sandy. It has been both a challenging but heartwarming experience. I discover something new with each animal friend that I care for. In return I give them my love, I talk to them and once in awhile, if they allow me, I give them a good reiki-massage rub on their belly.

Tata was wonderful, as always! She even called on one of the days when she couldn't find one of our cats and checked every one of his hiding spots until she found him. Both cats were in great spirits when we got home. Thanks again, Tata!! 🙂

First time leaving my cats alone for an extended period so I was a little nervous but she did an amazing job taking care of them! The constant updates were amazing and they looked really happy in all the pictures. Would definitely recommend Tata to take care of your animals!

I have a crate for a small dog. I have a dog in the house. I live in a large upper duplex in a quiet neighborhood with a dog park nearby and, off season, I will take my canine friends on long unleashed walks at the local golf course (unleashed walks only for dogs that are trained and that obey me).

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. Let me know anything that will come in handy during our walks - do they try to eat everything around them? How are they with other dogs? Humans? Please let me know how long the pet can stay alone, if at all.
A typical day
First and foremost, tell me where your furry friend loves to go - do they have a favourite park? My favorite place to go for long walks is at Meadowbrook Golf Club which is located a 10 min walking distance from my home. I go during the off season where many owners let their dogs run free. My neighborhood has three dog parks: the Joe Raie Nature Path and Dog Run in CSL (free access), Hodgson Field in Montreal-West (accessible only October-April) and the dog park next to the Montreal-West Town Hall (your dog must be vaccinated and licensed by the Town). I like playing pitch and fetch, tug-a-war, and walking through city's nature trails, park trails, or bike paths.
