I'm currently a sonographer here in Fort Worth. I have experience working for dog boarding facilities, veterinary clinics, and in-home sitting for over 10 years. My skills include administering medications, nail trims, ear cleaning, and general bathing and brushing. I do have one large dogs of my own at home and a toddler so I am unable to stay over night at homes because of my family. I am able to stop by at least 2 times per day for usually 20 minutes at each stop unless more time is needed. My husband works from home now 2.5 days per week and together we are available for in-home sitting, doggy daycare, and dog walking within reasonable distance from Saginaw. He is home Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Friday afternoons. I am home one day a week as well, but it changes week to week. With enough notice, I can adjust for a specific day if needed. Why I love dog sitting: I've loved animals for all of my life. I've worked at a dog kennel and veterinary clinics for over 10 years throughout school. I love all animals and have lots of experience in caring for them! :) Our dog and son love other dogs. Experience administering medication: Yes! I have previous experience administering medications for all kinds of pets and am comfortable with injectable medications if needed. My husband works from home 2.5 days per week and helps with any boarders at our house throughout the day. I now work 4 days per week with 1 day and weekends at home. When we are home, we are happy to offer walks, playtime, and anything else needed for your pet that we can do! They become a part of our family during their stay. We have a fenced in yard for play/potty time and an XL dog door if your dog is comfortable using it. We also are able to crate if needed. We prefer that clients bring their own crate due to pet comfort/smell but we do have one XL crate we can assemble and pet gates if needed during the stay.
