While growing up we adopted pretty much every stray animal I came across. Needless to say we had a ton of cats, and a couple of dogs! Currently I have 2 beagle mixes age 5 and 6.They're super friendly and love having an occasional overnight pup stay! I have pretty open availability and can be flexible with drop off and pick up times. I have a toddler in my home , so I do ask that the dogs I take care of are not aggressive to children. He also accompanies me to most drop in visits depending on times. I also prefer to care for dogs under 80 pounds. If your dog is great with other dogs there will be opportunities to go on longer walks in the summer at local parks and recreational areas. We have a camper in Alton that we stay in off and on during the summer months over the weekends with beach access. We will occasionally bring pups to the camper for more outdoor time and water fun.
