I will love your little fur baby as if they were my own! A little more about my background- I have grown up with all kinds of animals (my parents literally live on a farm) and dogs are my favorite. I began pet sitting more seriously about 5 years ago, when I decided to be a volunteer dog sitter for Fetch Wisconsin Rescue based out of Madison. I immediately began to take on more of the 'challenging' cases - including neglected, abused, reactive, and fearful dogs. I transitioned from dog sitting to fostering last year- the grey pitbull in a lot of my pictures (Chester) fell into all of the previous categories. I fostered him for about 9 months- taught him how to act inside a home, took him to countless training courses and made sure to give him lots of love. Since he was adopted- my love for dogs has stayed the same...but I don't have a foster to spoil anymore! This is where you come in- I would love to be considered when it comes to someone spoiling your fur baby and giving them an awesome 'staycation' while you and your family leave town. I can also offer drop in visits and walking during the days! My background has familiarized me with dogs who have behavioral 'quirks' such as reactivity (to people, dogs, cats, leashes, etc.,) separation anxiety, general anxiety, as well as dogs who have special medical needs. For dogs, having their people leave can sometimes be scary, and not every dog feels comfortable in a boarding environment. My goal is to make it so that even if their people are on vacation, everything else in their life (walk schedule, food schedule, potty schedule, playtime, etc.) gets to stay consistent.
