Dogs are fun and interactive companions -- they have such big hearts, I just think they are the greatest friends. I'm a sitter with Rover because I love to spend time with dogs and provide the care they need. I am most excited about building relationships with some great dogs in my area and since the building I live in doesn't allow dogs, it will be a great opportunity to spend time with dogs and take care of them as if they were my own. Above all, any dog I take care of I want them to feel comfortable and loved. My daily routine involves starting each day with some exercise, so your pup and I can go for a walk or have some playtime. After a good workout, we can relax so that we’re ready for some afternoon playtime or a walk. I love walking through the neighborhood and going to local parks. I love hiking and there are some great dog-friendly trails near me which can be lots of fun too! I also love to cook and love to have a pup keep me company or we can always swing by one of the area’s dog-friendly eateries. No matter what, every day I will make sure my canine clients get the attention they need. I’ve had a lot of experience with dogs -- I grew up with Max who we rescued from the shelter when he was nine months old and I took care of him until he passed away at 15. I trained him, took him for walks, and provided plenty of snuggles throughout his life. He was a larger dog with a lot of energy, so he was always ready to play and run around. I have also volunteered to walk dogs at a local shelter. When it comes to meeting new dogs, and their owners, people find me to be charismatic, resilient and enthusiastic. I get along with most people and dogs I meet because I'm able to find something we can relate to and I build connections easily. I am resilient because I don't let circumstances get me down or stop me from achieving my goals. I truly believe if there's a will, then there's a way. I choose joy everyday and that contributes to my natural enthusiasm.
