Pet care experience
I was born in Madrid, Spain but grew up in Panama. I have been in the USA for 17 years. I come from a large family... My fondness for animals developed at a young age since we always had pets growing up. I believe caring for animals teaches responsibility and selflessness. I currently have a beautiful cat named Mimi, she has been with me for 16 years, and I tell people she is like my child. Since I do not have a dog, I love to jump at the opportunity to watch my friend's dogs for them when they go out of town. They're such sweet, active animals, and it's always fun dog sitting when I get the chance. I enjoy the connection that develops when I'm given the chance to be around dogs.

I can't say enough great things about Tarik! He is an amazing dog sitter, my fur baby Maggie adores him so much. I use to worry and stress over leaving Maggie behind when I traveled but those fears have vanished thanks to Tarik! I now leave for vacation stress free knowing that Maggie will be looked after and cared for my Tarik. He loves my girl like she's his own dog. I look forward to getting updates and photos of Maggie happy and safe while I am away. Tarik has cared for my cat Scotch several times while I was away on business trips, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy "petsitter." He did everything I asked, and even went above and beyond to make sure Scotch was in good hands while I was away. He checked Scotch's food and water and cleaned his litter box as requested. He also spent time playing with Scotch, and he even sent me pictures and videos to show me how Scotch was doing while I was gone. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with Tarik, and I will definitely be hiring him again the next time I need someone to care for Scotch over an extended time.
Tarik is a warm, caring guy and my dogs (all three of them!) adore him. He doesn't just walk them and leave. He takes his time whenever he cares for them, whether I ask him just to stop by and feed them because I can't make it home in time from work, or I ask him to spend the night. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I would prefer a general overview of the dog's current health, age, personality, behavior exhibited around other people, what kind of lifestyle the dog is accustomed to (active or relaxed), the dog's quirks, and any special instructions on feeding and /or rewarding a dog with treats for a good behavior. I love any breed!!!!
A typical day
I would definitely want to communicate with clients about any preferences they have for their dog's activities. I live very close to Piedmont Park (walking distance) so if allowed, I would enjoy taking dogs on walks in the park, and playing with them at the park as well.
