I am a certified reiki practitioner, and my sister is a vet tech always on call! I used to have a pet chinchilla named Chirp. Unfortunately he had to be put down when he was only 5 years old due to a condition called malocclussion. He was on medicine every day and made many trips to the vet before we both decided it was time. I also rescued a kitten that showed up at my doorstep in need of food, shelter, and vetinarian care. His name is Logan and he is 1.5 years old. However, he was recently diagnosed with heart disease. I am doing everything I can to improve his quality of life. He is prescribed the common medications for his condition, along with two off label treatments that have shown to be promising in studies. His diet includes a combination of holistic supplements and he recieves reiki every day! Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation and reduces physical pain.
