Pet care experience
I've been around dogs as small as Chihuahuas and large as Dobermans with all the ranges in-between as well. My life has been spent around animals! Once I fostered an anxiety ridden Greyhound and by the time he was ready for adoption, the agency said he was a completely different dog. I've also spent time around other working dogs such as Belgian Malinois, Potty-mixes, and Shepherd-mixes. Even now I've been dog-sitting a senior dog, helping with his medication and the journeys up and down stairs. I know how important it is to be patient with animals and for them to be comfortable. Whether it's taking them for walks, bathing them, or simply playing and giving them plenty of love, I genuinely enjoy when I get to spend time with them.

My husband, daughter and I had never left our beloved Tallulah with a petsitter before. We were nervous to do so until we met and hired Tara. She put us at ease immediately with the way she connected to Tallulah. Tara's love of dogs and more specifically, Tallulah, made it possible for us to leave our precious furry family member with someone and know for certain that she would be well cared for. Tara gave us peace of mind. Plus she didn't object to my 4 page pet memo or daily text messages asking how Tallulah was doing. Not only did she take expert care of Tallulah, she took care of our fagile psyche by sending us sweet daily updates complete with photos:) Tara is amazing and we wholeheartedly recommend her.
Tara is a very attentive loving caregiver for pets. She interacts with them, loves on them, makes sure they are fed and taken care of and most importantly respects the owner’s requests. Tara has taken care of my dogs on a number of occasions and I’ll have her take care of them again in the future.

My apartment is open for smaller dogs to stay in with parks a short walk away. As for being in your home, I keep a very chill environment for them and give them plenty of love. I try to walk dogs anywhere from once to three times a day depending on their size and energy levels. If not, we at least try to play with toys to get their energy out. If they love car rides, I have a reliable car that we can go for a drive in! And if there are preferences you have, habits that they have adjusted to, I do my best to work with those so that there is some consistency in their routines.

Availability
My job is a balance between being on set and working remote, but more often than not I get to be remote. Other than a couple of night classes that change from time to time, it's fairly easy for me to adjust.
