Pet care experience
I am passionate about caring for animals! I love spending time outside and dogs often come with me wherever I am outdoors (often hiking). I am home most of the time and have many many years of experience pet sitting anywhere from puppies to elderly dogs that have strict medication schedules. I also have a lot of experience dog walking and dog running...so I know how to handle a rowdy dog on a leash. I grew up riding and taking care of horses as well (aka large and strong animals do not scare me). I have two dogs of my own, a 12 year old white lab and a 7 year old terrier mix. Very friendly, sweet, accommodating and a total dog whisperer. Axle fell in love instantly with Tara and her pup, Luna. I got regular updates & pics and he was in heaven. Will definitely work with Tara again.
Tara is just awesome! We have a nine-month-old puppy with LOTS of energy and we needed to leave him for over two weeks for an overseas vacation. From the first time we met Tara and she interacted with our pup, it was clear that she just loves animals. By the time we picked him up, we noticed our Charlie was easier to handle on a leash. Tara has a large beautiful home all very secure. She took Charlie on numerous hikes and went to the beach to make sure he had plenty of exercise. She has two wonderful dogs (a 12-year-old white lab and a 7-year-old terrier) who offered great company for our young golden retriever to keep him busy! We would highly recommend Tara and hope to be able to use her services again soon.
I thought Tara's pet care was terrific!! I knew after meeting her I could trust her with my dogs and house. She was prompt with e-mail responses and very professional.
