About Me: Hello! My name is Tara and I go by Tk. I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, and bunnies of all ages. Before the pandemic, I did Rover boarding and daycare full-time from my home in Portland Oregon for 2 years. I now live in Juneau! Most recently I bottle fed a litter of 5 kittens until they were ready for their forever homes. I just bought a house in the flats so I am ready to start taking bookings! I am available for cat or dog boarding and doggie daycare. For feedings and medications please have the care instructions updated on your pets’ profile. I am experienced and comfortable administering medications. For new clients, I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to accepting the booking. To provide a peaceful environment for all beings in the home we can only accept dog friendly dogs. If you have a dog with any aggression I can recommend friends that can housesit instead. My mother is a wildlife biologist so I was rasied in a household with lots of compassion and understanding of animal behavior.

Food/medicine/ allergies: How often are they fed, how much, what time of day, food aggression, treats, allergies, medications, up-to-date on vaccinations, current flea treatment, recent injuries or surgeries, and regular Veterinarian office? Activity: Walks, dog parks, hikes, car rides, preferred toys, and toys to avoid. In the home/bedtime: Preference sleeping arrangement, separation anxiety, allowed on furniture, enjoys being brushed?

Availability
I have lots of extra time and would love to spend it with your fur baby! I work from home remotely with a very flexible schedule where I am home most of the time. The flats neighborhood is very walkable. I like to take dog guests on walks twice per day. Once in morning after my early work meeting around 8am and once in the evening before dinner around 5pm. On the weekends I can take dogs on hikes and adventures if it is alright with their owners.
