I'm a lifelong dog-owner and dog-lover! I founded and ran a rescue program for Great Pyrenees dogs and for years I fostered most of those dogs. My older two kids grew up playing dog rescue and naming strays that we were helping. I've been a wildlife educator focusing on wolves for the past 11 years, and even spent a a summer hand-raising homeless wolf pups! I've also worked with adult wolves...so I "speak" canine, love dogs and have been informally dog-sitting for friends for years. I've bottle-fed pups, given fluids and injections, and even helped with canine surgeries! I am currently owned by a 5 year old newfie, 8 year old aussie and a rescued rez dog from Montana.
