Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog when I was younger, and have always been a huge animal lover. After graduating from college, I worked at an animal shelter as an animal care and adoption specialist where I also fell in love with cats and adopted two of my own. I have also received my certification in Pet CPR and First Aid which has made me comfortable and confident in handling various chronic and emergency health conditions in dogs and cats. A true pet lover!
Tara is just the absolute sweetest and truly an animal lover at heart! It was so reassuring to find such a responsible and responsive sitter for my senior cat. She sent updates at every visit and the most adorable pictures. Seriously, I think you could have a career as an pet portrait photographer! ? I’ve already booked her again for a longer trip and I know my cats will be in the best of hands!

When watching dogs, I think a good balance of playtime and snuggle time is important unless the particular dog prefers one heavily over the other. Happy to be as active or relaxed with the dog as you'd like.

My full-time job in the wildlife conservation field is flexible and gives me the ability to pet sit as well. I typically have the time to take on clients during weekends or week days.
