Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Tara and I am a stay at home mom to three boys, ages 11,13 & 19. I live a block away from a park with a great walking trail and I live about a mile away from a park with a dog park attached. Our family has become the " go to" for anyone traveling out of town needing care for their dog and the boys and I love it! To get paid to do a job I enjoy is a real privilege... If you’re anything like me, you have an incredible connection with your pets. When you’re out of town, you want to make sure they’re with someone who will love them just as much as you do. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re on extended trips away. So, leave them in good hands and enjoy yourself. About this sitter: I'm a very healthy and active, fun loving stay at home mom of three awesome boys. Why I love dog sitting I've been around dogs my entire life and I see them as members of the family, not just pets. From Schnauzers to Labs to Dobermans, I've cared for them all. There's something about the companionship a dog offers that humans just aren't capable of... Meet my pets a fish :)
Reviews
Brody is always excited to go to Tara’s. We can’t even say her name around him until we know for sure he’s going there.
Tara was great. We have two big pups and she welcomed them completely. We only boarded them overnight, but I felt totally comfortable and at ease with Tara and will definitely use her again!
Brody gets so excited when we tell him he’s going to Tara’s. She has my highest recommendation
Tara was highly recommended by a friend, and we found her to be very caring and supportive to our dog for her first sleepover anywhere ever! Tara put us and our dog at ease! She came home a very happy pup!

I follow your lead on crates, if you use them I do too. I’ve gates all throughout to separate as needed (feedings, sleeping, when I’m away) When my pups go outside in our fenced yard, someone goes too. If the weather is too unfavorable I stand in the window and monitor the entire time- no pups ever left unattended.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live a block from a walking park, my neighborhood is very pet friendly, I no longer visit dog parks but we create our own field trips by visiting the tennis courts. Depending on the size of my pack, we may take extra walks. When there are more than two pups, they don’t need walks. They play enough in my yard. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: This varies for each pup - plz ask for more details. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm a stay at home mom so that all depends on the dogs temperament. If they're a lap dog, that's fine but if they're a loner, that's fine too ? Flexible... If you like to cuddle, so do I. If you like to be left alone I promise to only bother you for potty breaks and I'll keep your water chilled and your bowls full ;). If you have more energy than anything humanly possible, lets go!! I exercise daily and challenge you. If you're getting up there in age I will keep your body pillows fluffed and try to always create the shortest distance from point A to point B.

My family and I are very active… I mean VERY active. Just like most pups, my boys require lots of activities to stimulate them physically so we are outside every day, rain or shine. My youngest attends school on our street so our days start with a walk to the school and then a walk around the track or in the fenced tennis courts for free play. Our pups come to sporting events with us (when permitted) and become apart of our family and routine when with us.
